Job summary

National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) is seeking a Manager, Conference and Events to lead planning and execution of a diverse portfolio of meetings, conferences, and virtual programming. The role requires independent leadership across multiple cycles and high attention to detail.

You will manage logistics, budgets, vendor contracts, production, and on-site execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in meeting and event coordination or related field.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex in-person and virtual events.
• Experience managing event budgets and working with hotels, venues and vendors.
• Experience with executive-level stakeholders (senior leaders, board, VIPs).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of a portfolio of NCRC meetings and events.
• Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, contracts, and invoicing.
• Oversee event production for in-person and virtual events.
• Develop detailed event project plans, schedules and run-of-show.
• Coordinate cross-departmental planning and post-event follow-up.
• Ensure readiness and on-site execution with vendors and staff.
