Amentum is seeking a dynamic Concept Strategic Planner to support Theater Army transformation efforts by driving complex, requirement-focused analysis under USARPAC in Hawaii. You will aid senior leaders with strategic planning, develop innovative approaches for wargames, and manage sensitive information while coordinating roadmaps for priority capabilities.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in defense operations, 5+ years in theater-level planning, and a SAMs/JAWs background with TS/SCI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 15+ years of defense operations experience.
• 5+ years in operational planning and OPLAN writing at theater or Joint level in the Pacific.
• 5+ years in operational and strategic futures, including wargames and Pacific theater.
• Graduate of SAMs or JAWs.
• Experience running B2C2WG, writing reports, and briefing senior military leaders.
• Experience writing and testing future concepts, using Microsoft Office products, and integrating AI tools into workflow.
• Knowledge of MDMP and JOPES.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Active Top-Secret clearance and SCI eligibility; US citizenship required.

Responsabilités

• Aid senior-level strategic planning, discussions, and briefings for USARPAC/USPACOM leaders.
• Develop innovative approaches to address gaps for inclusion in wargames and analysis venues.
• Make independent decisions within guidelines while handling highly sensitive information.
• Execute the PIPELINE process leveraging relevant experience and tools.
• Navigate complex org structures to determine roadmaps for capability solutions in line with USARPAC priorities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Approximately 25% travel annually to Mainland U.S. and allied nations for conferences and planning sessions.
