Job summary

Amentum is seeking a dynamic and innovative Strategic Communications Planner to provide research and analysis on information related capabilities, plans and operations in support of USPACOM at Camp H.M. Smith, HI.

You will conduct research, develop MOEs/MOPs, and assist senior leaders with strategic planning and briefings to inform decision-making in a fast-paced DoD environment, coordinating across agencies and components as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years of DoD/federal program management experience.
• At least 3 years in information-related fields (strategic communications, public affairs or PSYOPs).
• Experience developing communications themes and messages.
• Experience implementing information/communication plans for military ops.
• Experience writing reports, graphics and information papers.
• Experience analyzing operational data.
• Proficient with MS Office and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of AI tools (GPT, GenAI, Python, etc.) for government objectives.
• Active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and support for information capabilities across PACOM AOR.
• Develop strategy to implement synchronized communication and information effects.
• Recommend frameworks to address operational issues and opportunities.
• Facilitate coordination through teams to set objectives for key audiences.
• Research and develop MOEs and MOPs to measure information strategies.
• Support senior-level strategic planning and briefs for USPACOM leadership.
• Conduct unclassified and classified research to support CONPLANs/OPLANS.
