Job summary

ANSER in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Principal Strategic Operational Planner to lead the development and review of Operational Plans, Contingency Plans, and Campaign Plans for PACOM or related staffs.

You will provide technical leadership, refine planning concepts, and ensure proper employment of forces while aligning with service and joint doctrine. A TS/SCI clearance and 12+ years of planning experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Master's degree or 8+ years of practical experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• 12+ years of operations planning experience supporting MAJCOM, Combatant Command or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of operational planning, and service and joint doctrine.
• Demonstrated understanding of C2IE and JOPES and other requirements tools.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of the Pacific theater and inter-nation relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff planners in developing strategic and operational concepts for new OPLANs/CONPLANs.
• Make recommendations to improve planning procedures and execution.
• Support higher HQ planning, ensure proper employment of forces, and review regional plans.
