Job summary

Amentum seeks a dynamic Concepts Strategic Planner to support Theater Army transformation at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. You will drive complex analysis and coordinate with PACOM, Army transformation, and joint partners to inform modernization efforts.

Key responsibilities include advising on future technology integration, contributing to force modernization planning, and representing the directorate in wargames, IPTs, AARs, and cross-time-zone meetings. 25% travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience with operational planning and OPLAN/JOPES at theater or Joint level in Pacific.
• Graduate of SAMs or JAWs.
• Experience with future concepts and wargames.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to integrate AI into workflow.

Responsibilities

• Aid senior-level strategic planning, discussions, and briefings for USARPAC/USPACOM leaders.
• Develop approaches to address gaps for multi-domain and autonomous solutions in wargames.
• Make independent decisions within guidelines while handling sensitive information.
• Execute the PIPELINE process and support PACOM collaboration.
