First Bank SBA, Inc. is seeking a Testing & Monitoring Compliance Analyst II in Asheville, NC. This full-time office role focuses on evaluating and executing complex compliance reviews, developing testing programs, and providing independent findings to mitigate regulatory risk.

The position collaborates to enhance compliance testing, oversees issue remediation, and ensures adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act and AML requirements while supporting leadership with actionable recommendations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years related experience in banking operations and compliance.
• Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and multitask with attention to detail.
• Strong working knowledge of laws and regulations governing financial institutions.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate and execute compliance testing and monitoring reviews using established methodologies to evaluate adherence to laws and internal policies.
• Maintain proficiency in testing and monitoring disciplines and adapt to priorities and regulatory concerns.
• Analyze complex data, determine root-cause vulnerabilities, and recommend corrective actions to leadership.
• Develop and enhance testing methodologies and risk-assessment frameworks for evolving regulations.
• Direct and oversee issue remediation; evaluate the effectiveness of corrective action plans.
• Coordinate documentation requests during reviews and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
