Job summary

Affirm is seeking an Analytics Lead for Compliance Shared Services to own regulatory analytics and automated monitoring for a multi-product consumer lending business. You translate regulatory obligations into data checks and ensure evidence-ready outputs for regulators, auditors, and leadership.

You will guide a junior analyst, design monitoring, and partner with Engineering and Legal to expand coverage across products and jurisdictions, while maintaining an evidence-grade data environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in compliance analytics, monitoring or surveillance, or similar data role in regulated industry.
• Advanced SQL and cloud data stack experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Ability to translate regulations into data questions and build automated checks.
• Experience training junior analysts and guiding independent work.
• Familiarity with bank partner operations and regulatory exams.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern automated compliance monitoring, surface exceptions, and provide audit-ready evidence.
• Own data extraction scope for examinations, validate results across sources, document methodology.
• Triages anomalies, routes findings, and supports remediation with validation.
• Map checks to regulatory requirements and maintain control inventory.
• Drive automation roadmap and build self-service pipelines with AI-assisted tooling.
• Steward data environment, resolve data access issues, and maintain runbooks and docs.
• Provide technical direction and onboarding for a data analyst.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Product, and bank partners on coverage and jurisdictions.
