Job summary

Erie County Medical Center Corporation is seeking a Compensation Specialist for a full-time, on-site role in Buffalo. You will perform complex analyses to ensure employees receive competitive compensation, benchmarking against market data and government regulations.

You will provide expertise on job classifications, base pay, and incentive programs under the Manager of Compensation and Benefits with independent judgement.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of experience in compensation administration.
• Experience in developing compensation policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with compensation laws, rules and industry pay trends.

Responsibilities

• Participates in highly confidential compensation matters.
• Performs benchmarking and analysis on compensation policies and industry pay trends.
• Reviews requests for new and revised job titles and determines competitive compensation.
• Performs analysis to support merit and incentive pay programs and job evaluation needs.
• Manages the annual employee pay increase review process and collaborates with hiring managers.
