Job summary

10x Genomics is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join our People Team in Pleasanton, CA. You will support and administer compensation programs, including base pay, bonuses, and equity, and work with HR Partners and leaders to ensure competitive and equitable strategies that align with the company’s goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or experience in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• 5+ years of compensation experience, including base pay, variable pay, and long term incentive programs.
• Knowledge of HR and Finance concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Demonstrated analytical and project management skills.
• Ability to build partnerships with stakeholders across and outside HR and communicate with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Participate in compensation surveys, market research, data analysis, and recommendations on compensation designs.
• Lead the annual compensation review (Focal), coordinating base pay, bonus, and equity processes.
• Conduct job analysis and evaluate positions for title, pay grade, and FLSA classification.
• Support annual plan/forecast by calculating bonus pools and summarizing financial impacts of changes.
• Provide consultative support on compensation-related issues across the organization.
