Job summary

Devon is seeking a Compensation Manager to design, implement, and administer base salary, short- and long-term incentive programs that align with business goals. The role partners with HR leadership, finance and business leaders to provide strategic compensation guidance and ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.

Responsibilities include market pricing, salary surveys, job architecture, and managing compensation platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in employee and executive compensation, preferably in oil and gas.
  • WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional or SHRM Certified Professional preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data.
  • Excellent time management and communication with all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and administer base salary, short and long-term incentive programs.
  • Ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with HR leadership, finance, and business leaders to provide compensation guidance.
  • Conduct market pricing and salary surveys; maintain salary structures and job architecture.
  • Oversee administration of compensation platforms and vendors.
