loanDepot is hiring a senior compensation expert to design, analyze, and administer our company-wide compensation programs. You will lead market pricing, job architecture, and salary structures while partnering with HR and business leaders.

The role oversees annual planning, merit adjustments, and incentive programs, ensuring compliance with wage laws and equity objectives across multiple business units. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of progressive compensation experience.
Experience with job architecture, market pricing, job evaluations, and compensation analysis.
Experience with long‑term incentive programs is preferred.
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex compensation data and provide actionable recommendations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools (Payfactors, Payscale, MarketPay, Salary.com, Mercer, Radford).
Knowledge of compensation regulations, pay equity practices, and market trends.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with HR partners and leaders to develop data-informed compensation solutions that align with strategy.
Shapes enterprise job structures and leveling frameworks to enable consistency and career progression.
Leads market pricing analyses by interpreting external salary data and databases to maintain equity.
Manages annual compensation planning, merit and promotional adjustments, and salary structure updates.
Oversees job description frameworks to enable accurate market pricing and compensation administration.
Monitors wage regulations and administers pay adjustments to meet requirements.
Supports short- and long-term incentive programs, including design, testing, and annual processing.
Performs comprehensive compensation analyses to identify trends and internal equity considerations.
Maintains compensation data in HR systems and ensures regulatory compliance.
Participates in compensation surveys and maintains relationships with external data providers.
