Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a compensation professional to analyze, design, implement, and oversee compensation programs and incentive plans to ensure competitive, compliant, and business-aligned practices. The role supports the full lifecycle of incentive compensation programs, including governance, administration, risk assessment, reporting, problem solving, and strategic projects.

Position requires in-office work five days a week, with potential siting in Atlanta, GA; Orlando, FL;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education; 5+ years in compensation.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a compensation professional.
• Strong working knowledge of compensation programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Supports the design and administration of compensation programs including salary structures, incentive plans, and pay policies under limited supervision.
• Reviews compensation plans covering base pay, short-term and long-term incentives, allowances, deferred compensation, and sales compensation.
• Analyzes compensation through job analysis, classification, benchmarking, and participation in market surveys.
• Identifies, develops, and supports non-cash rewards and recognition programs to enhance employee engagement.
• Performs analysis of general compensation-related issues and draws from prior experience to make adjustments or recommend enhancements to solve problems.
• Analyzes and reviews competitive compensation assessments and makes recommendations to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
• Understands regulatory requirements related to compensation programs.
• Works on large, moderately complex compensation and reward program projects and assignments and provides guidance to lower-level professionals.
