Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our Malvern, PA team. The role supports design, administration, and analysis of compensation programs to attract and retain talent while ensuring external competitiveness and internal equity.

The position involves participating in market surveys, job evaluations, LTIP processes, and reporting, with a hybrid in-office/remote schedule. A strong Excel and HRIS background is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or Finance
• Knowledge of compensation principles, salary structures, job evaluation, market pricing, and compliance
• Experience using HRIS systems and compensation survey tools
• Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• Knowledge of FLSA and compensation compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Support administration of core compensation programs: annual reviews, market adjustments, and incentive programs across U.S. units
• Assist LTIP processes: eligibility reviews, vesting, audits, vendor management
• Support job evaluation processes: review job descriptions and grading
• Provide compensation guidance for hires, promotions, transfers, and retention actions
• Prepare standard and ad hoc compensation reports using HRIS and Excel
• Maintain compensation data and ensure data integrity and compliance
