Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Community Resource Coordinator (CRC) to lead strategic planning, integration, and oversight of family and community support programs across the SOF enterprise. The CRC identifies service gaps, builds relationships with internal and external support agencies, and supports programs that strengthen resilience of Service members and their families.

U.S. citizenship is required and a Secret security clearance or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of professional experience or equivalent.
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in education, human/social services, or related field; or four years of experience in social service education, work/family life consultation, or coordination services.
• Willingness to complete specialized training in peer support counseling, community resources and referrals, and suicide prevention.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project staff, client office personnel, and community agencies to address project issues.
• Deliver public speaking sessions and educational programs to community agencies and local office staff; participate in health fairs and group presentations.
• Report concerns, problems, and issues to Leadership promptly.
• Supervise and oversee activities of Outreach Client Service Representatives.
• Maintain a professional demeanor representing the organization and advocating for the program.
• Distribute program materials to diverse community groups.
