Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Planning or related field and 1–3 years in human services planning. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential, with SPSS familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Social Services or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in human services planning or program development.
  • Experience with program evaluation preferred. Ability to work with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, access, and analyze data sources related to ABCD’s anti-poverty mission.
  • Assist in needs assessment and strategic planning processes.
  • Analyze data to support prioritization of agency priorities.
  • Conduct research for specific programs or issue areas.
  • Support monitoring and evaluation activities and reporting for funders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage client databases.
  • Develop evaluation tools to assess programs’ effectiveness.
  • Identify and develop program initiatives or planning innovations.
  • Facilitate staff groups and coalitions to promote planning and development.
  • Provide grant writing support by researching best practices and relevant data.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
