Job summary

Action for Boston Community Development, Inc. (ABCD) seeks a Program Coordinator to oversee daily operations of Community Prevention Programs in Boston.

You will conduct evidence-based interventions, manage evaluations, and report to funders while aligning activities with program goals. Responsibilities include supervising volunteers, training staff, coordinating outreach, and ensuring materials meet funder guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health education, counseling, social work, or related field required.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience required.
• Ability to conduct individual education and counseling sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight and monitoring of program activities to ensure fidelity to models and funding guidelines.
• Conduct evidence-based group and individual-level interventions with the target population.
• Develop outreach and marketing strategies to increase awareness and access to services.
• Conduct program evaluation and data collection per plan and funder guidelines.
• Train and supervise volunteers and staff at venue sites.
