Job summary

NADAP, Inc. is seeking a Community Partner Liaison for Internship & Community Services in New York to build strategic partnerships with local businesses and community organizations, generating internship and service opportunities for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with three (3) years related experience.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associate's Degree with minimum five (5) years related experience or a high school diploma with seven (7) years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish partnerships with local and community businesses to create opportunities for client internships, community service and alternative engagement; cold call, field work and attend partnership events.
• Achieve and maintain monthly goals which include referring clients to internships, community service and alternative engagement and creating partnerships each month.
• Formalize partnerships by executing MOUs and submitting required documentation for internal and funder approval.
• Collaborate with community-based organizations and HRA programs to track partnership data and maintain a partnerships tracker.
• Act as primary point of contact for HRA programs, community partners and internship sites; respond to inquiries and provide ongoing support.
• Maintain up-to-date information on enrollment requirements, slot availability and partner liaison for each internship and community service provider.
• Promote opportunities to clients during group workshops and one-on-one screenings; collaborate with PACE staff to formalize referrals.
• Meet with clients to discuss training and education opportunities, including internships and job opportunities; assist with enrollment processes and collect weekly attendance feedback.
• Prepare and finalize internship/community service candidates for enrollment with all required documents and referrals.
• Update the client resource guide monthly with clothing, food pantry, training, housing and other resources.
• Refresh bulletin boards monthly with updated client resources and event flyers.
• Maintain and execute documentation using basic computer software and systems.
• May be assigned other tasks reasonably related to the role.
