America Works of New York, Inc. is seeking an Internship & Community Service Developer to build and manage employer and community-based organization partnerships that create internship and work-based learning opportunities for job seekers.

This Bronx-based role blends business development, relationship management, and community outreach to expand internship pipelines and ensure meaningful work experiences for clients across NYC.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 4-year degree preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and engage employers and community-based organizations to create internships and work-based learning opportunities.
• Develop and maintain partnerships to secure internship placements.
• Coordinate on-site visits to support internship placements and program compliance.
• Match clients with internships aligned to their career interests.
• Track outreach, partnerships, and placements in internal systems.
• Meet internship development and placement goals on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
