FirstService Residential is seeking a Community Association Manager in the northern suburbs of Chicago, IL. You will lead the association in collaboration with the Board of Directors, ensuring compliance and efficient operation of communities and staff.

You will manage budgets, oversee vendor partnerships, and maintain high service standards with residents. Strong communication and leadership are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Active Community Association Manager license in Illinois.
• Knowledge of building management, condominium law, and financial planning.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Budget control for program execution and cost-sharing.

Responsibilities

• Develop recommendations for community goals and lead action plans to achieve Board objectives.
• Provide leadership to address homeowners needs and oversee staff.
• Create and implement the annual operating budget; monitor financial position monthly.
• Ensure protection of client funds and assets against contingencies or losses.
• Lead Board meetings with agenda support and post-meeting follow-ups.
• Maintain service excellence in interactions with residents, vendors, and staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and collaborate with vendors.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise community staff per the management plan.
