Job summary

FirstService Residential seeks a Community Manager to lead the association’s operations, align with the Board’s mission, and oversee staff and budgets. You will provide day-to-day leadership, enforce governing documents, manage risk, and ensure compliance with civil code and local regulations while maintaining open communication with homeowners and Board members.

This full-time role requires a business background, strong people management skills, and a track record of delivering service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 3 years in Property Operations, Hospitality or Construction.
• At least 7 years of community management experience, 4 years supervising staff.
• Valid Driver's License and State mandated vehicle insurance.
• Pursuit of CPM, PCAM, ARM or AMS designations or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction in development of short- and long-range plans.
• Review org structure and roles, and advise the Board on changes.
• Lead budgeting, board reporting, and monthly financial oversight.
• Recruit, hire, and supervise community staff per plan.
• Ensure compliance with governing documents and applicable laws.
• Coordinate with emergency services and external partners.
