Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB) seeks a Communications and Public Information Officer to advance our mission by planning and implementing internal and external communications. You will manage our website, intranet, newsletters, press materials, social channels, and other publications, ensuring clear, timely messaging that aligns with our values and serves diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public affairs, journalism, education or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies across print, digital, web, press, and social channels.
• Collaborate with leadership to communicate organizational priorities and changes.
• Manage content for website, intranet, newsletters, social media, and other channels.
• Produce high-quality materials (annual reports, newsletters, press releases, presentations, brochures).
• Serve as media and public information contact, coordinating inquiries and crisis communications.
• Attend events to provide communications support and document for publications.
• Maintain branding and brand toolkit for consistent messaging.
