Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, seeks a Program Manager to lead Strategic Communications terminal modernization programs. You will oversee hardware/software development, build and qualification, and partner with senior management to ensure contractual commitments are met.

The role requires strong PM expertise, leadership across multi-functional teams, and a focus on execution excellence. On-site in Largo, FL or Marlborough, MA with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in government/defense/aerospace or related industry.
• Experience with Government budgeting and acquisition processes.
• Understanding of Estimate at Complete (EAC).
• Experience with Government contracting requirements and DoD acquisition management.
• Experience supporting development and production programs.
• Strong PM best practices and tools experience (R/O, cost/schedule, EVM).
• Active and transferable U.S. government clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Typically requires University Degree with 8+ years or Advanced Degree with 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time execution of contracts and proposal submittals; build teams and set expectations.
• Act as empowered authority to achieve objectives with PM/director support.
• Drive tactical execution while meeting strategic goals.
• Develop and track key program metrics, milestones, budgets, and schedules.
• Support annual Operating Plan and long-term financial outlook.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across RTX and subcontractors for program success.
