The role requires exceptional writing and editing skills to craft content across press releases, digital content, social media, and website copy, collaborating with internal teams and students to advance the college’s mission and reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• Three or more years of professional work experience in marketing communications or related areas.
• Experience with writing, editing, and producing content across multiple channels (PR, digital, social).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic, digital-first communications to promote undergraduate degree programs.
• Create student stories, press releases, social media content, promotional materials, and website copy.
• Lead planning and distribution of The Ourso Experience weekly student newsletter with graduate assistant support.
• Support communications related to student success, engagement, and career readiness initiatives.
• Design and implement social media strategy aligned with business goals and monitor engagement analytics.
• Develop materials for units such as the Center for Internal Auditing & Cybersecurity Risk Management.
• Manage multiple projects, timelines, and client/team communications.
