TruStone Financial seeks a Communications Strategist in Burnsville, MN to lead internal and external communications under the SVP/Director of Channel Marketing. You will strengthen employee engagement, member trust, brand reputation and organizational alignment, serving as the central owner of internal communications, public relations, executive communications and corporate storytelling.

This role requires 5+ years in communications, a bachelor’s degree, AP style proficiency, and strong

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in communications, public relations, corporate communications, or marketing communications.
• Experience supporting executive leadership teams and board communications preferred.
• Experience planning and managing large-scale corporate events and employee meetings.
• Proficiency in Associated Press style and strong copywriting, editing, presentation and storytelling skills.
• Strong project leadership, communications and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
• Familiarity with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA/AML) obligations and internal escalation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead TruStone Financial’s internal and external communications strategy to strengthen employee engagement, member trust, brand reputation and alignment.
• Serve as central owner of internal communications, public relations, executive communications, corporate storytelling, brand and content governance, and enterprise events.
• Partner with Executive Leadership, Human Resources, Retail Banking, Digital Experience, Product, Community Impact, Compliance, Marketing and other stakeholders to translate complex business strategies into clear messages for employees, members and board audiences.
