Job summary

Astrion seeks an Strategic Communications & Engagement SME Analyst in Chantilly, VA to deliver executive-level communications and stakeholder engagement for the U.S. Space Force and national security space programs. The role requires an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Polygraph and U.S.

citizenship. The position supports leadership with messaging, coordination across offices, and high-visibility engagements in a fast-paced government environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business, Management, Economics, Science, Technology, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience supporting Federal Government acquisition organizations.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.

Responsibilities

• Draft written and visual communication materials for diverse audiences.
• Develop communication plans in coordination with internal stakeholders and leadership.
• Prepare executive briefings, talking points, reports, presentations, and messaging products.
• Assemble and provide guidance on electronic Staff Summary Sheet packages.
• Communicate effectively with offices and stakeholders across all leadership levels.
• Support Program Management Reviews, All Calls, senior-leader meetings, and other high-level engagements.
• Advise leadership on the status of assigned deliverables, communication products, and engagement actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication activities among government, military, contractor, and mission partner organizations. #CJ
