Job summary

D3 Air and Space Operations, Inc. seeks a Space Systems and Military Technology Analyst to support the SAF/IA with operational, tactical, and technical space expertise across USSF mission areas. The role involves engagement with foreign partners, guidance development, and high-priority staff support.

The position requires a Final TS/SCI clearance and at least five years in space operations, with on-site work in the National Capital Region and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; emphasis in International Affairs preferred per BAH RFP.
• Final TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in space operations or related fields.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Ability to work on-site at government facilities and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, refinement, and implementation of export and foreign disclosure guidance for space systems and related processes.
• Identify TRFD requirements and challenges for space systems and technologies.
• Coordinate with industry, interagency, and stakeholders to facilitate export of space systems to international partners.
• Analyze and evaluate complex systems, policies related to release and export of U.S. space technologies.
• Provide technical support (briefings, papers, talking points) to USG engagements with foreign officials.
• Advise SAF/IA and USSF leadership on security cooperation, security assistance, and Foreign Military Sales for space systems.
• Work on-site at government facilities in the NCR; travel up to 25%.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs (emphasis desired)
