Benesch is seeking a Communications Director to lead our company-wide communications strategy and strengthen how we connect with employees, clients, industry partners, and communities.

This role focuses on translating complex business topics into clear communications, advising executive leadership, and guiding a team of professionals across traditional and digital channels. A strong emphasis on brand, thought leadership, and collaboration with technical experts is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, PR, marketing communications, or related field.
• Ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling communications.
• Experience advising executive leadership on strategic communications.
• Experience leading and developing communications professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an integrated, company-wide communications strategy aligned with business objectives and brand.
• Lead strategy and development of website, digital channels, and social media presence.
• Oversee internal communications and ensure alignment with company initiatives and culture.
• Partner with leadership to produce thought leadership content and elevate industry visibility.
• Lead media relations and strengthen relationships with industry publications and conferences.
