Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Public Administration or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in communications, public relations, journalism, public affairs or marketing, including five years of supervisory experience.
• Any equivalent combination of education and/or job-related experience that meets the minimum qualifications may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Scottsdale Video Network and the city’s design team.
• Lead strategy, operations and staff within the Communications Department.
• Provide trusted counsel on high-profile and sensitive issues.
• Help modernize the city’s communications with clarity, creativity and quality.
