Qualifications

• Minimum - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
• Three to five years of progressively responsible communications or marketing experience.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Experience managing websites and social media platforms.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Preferred - Master's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field.
• Experience in higher education communications.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, content management systems and analytics tools.
• Photography and video production experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute the College's communications strategy by developing content for print and digital platforms.
• Maintain the College's website and social media presence.
• Coordinate publications and promote the accomplishments of faculty, students, alumni and industry partners.
• Support COES strategic objectives by increasing awareness of academic programs and elevating research visibility.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director of Operations and Communications to ensure accurate, cohesive communications aligned with the College and university priorities.
