Job summary

Augusta University seeks a Communications Strategist to plan and coordinate college-wide communications across multiple media. The role supports university priorities and publicizes student and faculty achievements in alignment with standards.

You will produce content for the college newsletter, maintain websites and alumni pages, and steer web publishing and social media to strengthen engagement with campus and the broader community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of direct related communication/marketing experience.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization skills and the ability to work independently with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and publish the college newsletter and format for print and digital media.
• Maintain College of Science and Mathematics websites and departmental pages.
• Manage social media presence and coordinate external/internal communications.
• Lead web publishing efforts and oversee photography, videography, and content creation.
• Collaborate with chairs, faculty, editors, and designers to gather stories and content.
• Plan and assist with college events and marketing campaigns.
