Job summary

The Korean Women's Association in Lakewood, WA is seeking a Communications Manager to execute our internal and external communications strategy. You will develop compelling content, manage multi-channel outreach, and support organizational initiatives through clear, engaging messaging across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, graphic design, or three years of related experience.
• Layout and design experience; Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Experience in publication to social media platforms.
• Principles and practices of public administration, organization and employee supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain KWA public-relations and communication policies and procedures.
• Provide direction and guidance to Department Directors regarding communication issues.
• Manage internal and external communications, including print, news releases, media, multi-media, public relations or other areas.
• Oversee and implement communications projects utilizing Web-based technology.
• Content creation and storytelling.
• Photography, Video, and Audio Production.
