Job summary

The Piedmont Triad Regional Council in Kernersville is seeking a Communications Coordinator to drive strategic communications, strengthen the organization’s brand presence, and expand stakeholder engagement. You will craft compelling content across platforms and support outreach logistics.

In this role you will coordinate cross-functional efforts, manage CRM and data analysis, and assist with events and training sessions while ensuring consistent messaging and organized records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field.
• 2 years of administrative or communications experience, preferably with public interaction.
• Strong organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Publisher, and social media/website platforms.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and content management tools preferred.
• Valid NC driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Support content development, branding initiatives, and strategic communications.
• Maintain files, manage schedules, update databases, and support committees.
• Assist in coordinating workshops, meetings, and training sessions.
• Respond to inquiries, provide information on established policies and procedures, and maintain organized records.
• Manage CRM systems, and assist with data collection and analysis.
• Ensure that effective communication with partners, stakeholders, and team members is distributed.
• Travel within a 12-county region as needed.
