Job summary

McKinstry is seeking a Commodity Manager for its Offsite Manufacturing division in Seattle, WA. You will drive procurement, sourcing, and strategic management of select goods and services, partnering with Engineering, Production, Finance and Procurement to align sourcing with company priorities and optimize supply chain performance.

Responsibilities include supplier evaluation, market analysis, and risk mitigation, with a focus on cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of procurement/comodity management experience, with technical/equipment sourcing.
• Strong analytical skills for forecasting, demand assessment, and pricing data.
• Proven negotiation skills with supplier contracts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, lead sourcing activities, negotiate terms and pricing.
• Develop commodity-specific sourcing strategies aligned to OSM and enterprise direction.
• Monitor markets and economic trends to inform purchasing decisions.
• Analyze inventory, budgets and production schedules to support procurement.
