Benchmark Electronics Inc in Minnesota:Winona is seeking a seasoned commodity purchasing leader to develop strategies, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost reductions for high-volume materials. You will mentor buyers, work with business units, and oversee negotiations to align with corporate goals.

The role requires a 4-year degree (preferred) and 8+ years of experience in commodity purchasing, with strong negotiation, financial, and leadership skills.

Competenze

• 4 year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management.
• 8+ years of experience in commodity purchasing; large volume, complex commodities.
• Expertise in negotiation, supplier contracts, and cost management.
• Strong financial understanding, risk analysis, and project management.

Mansioni

• Mentor buyers and supply chain analysts in commodity strategies.
• Develop relationships with key suppliers and sources.
• Support customer strategic and tactical material needs with business units.
• Develop and manage commodity strategies to meet divisional objectives.
• Supervise the strategic sourcing process for assigned commodities.
• Drive continuous improvements and cost reductions through supplier partnerships.
