Job summary

Rinnai America Corporation seeks a Commercial Sales Engineer to own key commercial product sales revenue across a multi-state territory. You will blend specification management, sales leadership and applications engineering to win projects, support start-ups, and guide customers from first contact to installation.

Travel up to 75% is required. Responsibilities include architect/engineer engagement, building local market relationships, and leveraging Salesforce CRM to manage pipelines and bids

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent business-engaged training.
• 3–5 years of demonstrated technical sales experience with engineers and designers.
• Ability to read and interpret architect and engineering plans.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Call on architects, engineers, facilities teams to win specifications and applications.
• Apply Manual J load calculations with energy audits to support sales.
• Understand codes and regulations to create advantages for product sales.
• Meet or exceed commercial sales goals in the assigned territory.
