Job summary

Rinnai America Corporation in Atlanta, GA seeks a Commercial Sales Engineer to drive commercial product sales revenue. The role blends specifications management, account leadership, and field support, including on-site startup services for assigned territory.

You will apply hydronics knowledge and engage with architects, engineers, and specifiers to convert opportunities. The position requires up to 75% travel within Knoxville, TN; Chattanooga, TN; Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC and surrounding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with business acumen.
• 3-5 years of technical sales experience in engineering
• Ability to read architectural/engineering plans
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Call on key architects, engineers, facilities management teams to win specifications or applications for Rinnai products.
• Apply Manual J load calculations with energy audits for commercial projects to support sales.
• Apply building codes knowledge to create advantages for product sales.
• Understand and apply commercial specs, submittal sheets, and drawings to stakeholders.
• Meet/exceed sales goals; travel within the region as needed to convert opportunities.
• Lead funnel management in Salesforce; coordinate with teams to optimize closes.
