Job summary

GBC International Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager to plan and implement sales and marketing programs targeting business customers. You will assess and authorize or recommend commercial loan applications, and work with the lending team to grow the bank’s commercial real estate loans.

You will develop deposits and revenue streams, maintain client relationships, and promote a broad range of banking services.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating commercial loan applications and borrowers’ financial status.
• Ability to develop and maintain client relationships with business customers.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in loan presentations.

Responsibilities

• Assists lending team in growing and managing commercial real estate loans.
• Develops deposits, cash management, and bank services revenue.
• Resolves account or service-related problems for clients.
• Maintains ongoing visibility with client base.
• Calls and visits target customers to promote and sell products and services.
• Promotes cross-sell of business checking, credit cards, and letters of credit.
• Develops and revises products with poor performance.
• Acquires and grows profitable relationships with business customers and real estate investors.
• Analyzes borrowers’ financial status, credit, and property information to determine loan feasibility.
• Prepares loan presentations for Loan Committee and approvals.
• Reviews and updates loan files and agreements for policy compliance.
• Collaborates with team members to deliver exemplary customer service across products.
• Generates market research data to tailor portfolio offerings.
• Creates new products and services to fit customer needs.
• Generates and screens leads to build new business relationships.
