LHH Recruitment Solutions partners with an established financial institution in Metro Detroit to fill a Commercial Portfolio Manager role. This hands-on position focuses on the ongoing health and management of a commercial loan portfolio, collaborating with lenders, credit, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in commercial banking, strong credit, and underwriting skills, plus a proven ability to analyze financial statements and manage portfolio risk while staying aligned

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of commercial banking experience.
• Strong commercial credit and portfolio management experience.
• Experience underwriting and analyzing commercial loans.
• Strong financial statement analysis skills.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
• Construction lending experience is a plus.
• Special assets/workout experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Manage the ongoing monitoring and overall credit health of a commercial loan portfolio.
• Prepare detailed credit packages and evaluate commercial loans for renewal, restructuring, and approval.
• Analyze borrower financial statements and other financial information to evaluate creditworthiness.
• Oversee loan renewals, financial statement tracking, covenant compliance, and other ongoing portfolio requirements.
• Partner with commercial lenders to structure credits and support new and existing relationships.
• Support underwriting activities across a variety of commercial credits.
• Monitor construction-related credits and project performance, as applicable.
• Partner with commercial operations and administration teams throughout the lending process.
• Review loan documentation and due diligence to ensure files are complete prior to closing.
• Review closing documentation to ensure approved terms and conditions are accurately reflected.
• Assist with special assets and more complex credit situations as needed.
• Manage competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
