Job summary

WesBanco, Inc. is seeking a credit administration professional to manage a portfolio of troubled commercial and CRE credits. You will develop strategies to minimize losses and work with management, lenders, and counsel to ensure compliance with laws and bank policy.

The role requires deep knowledge of commercial underwriting, collections, and exit/remediation negotiation, with responsibility for coordinating actions across departments and external parties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 5 years of related experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Portfolio Management or Loan Review.
• Prior commercial workout experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review loan files to understand the transaction and circumstances.
• Enforce the bank's rights or position on loans and collateral.
• Discuss issues with supervisor and legal counsel to develop strategies.
• Document loan files with actions taken and pertaining to each account.
• Work with third parties to dispose of collateral.
• Interact with commercial banking officers on shared accounts.
• Review, analyze and interpret financial statements and cash flow to assess borrower strength.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations and ensure policy compliance.
• Develop and implement credit administration strategies to minimize losses.
