Job summary

WesBanco, Inc. is seeking a skilled Credit Administration professional to manage a portfolio of troubled commercial and commercial real estate credits.

You will develop strategies to minimize potential losses and negotiate exit or remediation options with borrowers, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and bank policies. You will collaborate with bank management, lending staff and legal counsel to protect the bank's interests and oversee complex workout scenarios, including collateral

Qualifications

• Reviews loan files to understand transaction and circumstances.
• Develops strategies to minimize potential loss.
• Analyzes financial statements and cash flows to assess borrower strength.
• Complies with banking regulations governing collections and workouts.
• Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial Banking or Portfolio Management preferred.
• Excellent negotiation and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review loan files after assignment to understand terms and conditions.
• Enforce bank rights with respect to loans and collateral.
• Discuss issues with supervisor, management, and/or legal counsel to develop remedies.
• Document actions in loan files and pertain to each assigned account.
• Work with third parties to dispose of collateral.
• Coordinate with officers on shared accounts being handled.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
• Develop and implement credit administration strategies to minimize losses.
• Collaborate with management to manage assigned accounts.
