Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines in a remote/hybrid setup serving Eastern and Central Time zones from the United States. The role focuses on managing a book of business, ensuring retention, and supporting new opportunities, with strong emphasis on service delivery and renewal execution.

You will lead the account management team in day-to-day activities, leverage industry expertise, and coordinate policy administration, billing, and coverage

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned book of business to ensure retention and support new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues with accuracy and timeliness.
• Renewals: manage expirations, conduct client research, and present proposals.
• Ensure data integrity in agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
