Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Senior Account Manager - Commercial Lines to oversee an assigned book, retain clients, and help grow business from remote locations in the Eastern and Central time zones.

You will lead the account management team, manage policy administration, renewals, billing, and service requests, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery while upholding IOA's high standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of account management experience, or 7+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the account management team.
• Maintain a high degree of technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities and workflow of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
