Job summary

Ardmac seeks an experienced Commercial Lead to oversee all pre- and post-contract commercial activities on a high-value UK project. The role is based in the South West and focuses on protecting Ardmac’s financial position, driving profitability and providing governance to the commercial team.

The successful candidate will lead procurement, manage cash flow forecasting, support project delivery, and strengthen client and supply chain relationships while ensuring NEC contract compliance and timely

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of subcontract and material procurement.
• Strong knowledge of claims preparation, dispute resolution and NEC contracts.
• Proven financial and commercial reporting capability.
• Ability to develop and execute commercial strategies to maximise value and cashflow.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead all commercial elements of pre- and post-contract activities.
• Oversee procurement and ensure risk profiling is completed.
• Safeguard Ardmac’s contractual and financial position.
• Provide weekly cash flow forecasts.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial close-out.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies post-commencement.
• Manage dispute resolution activity as required.
• Collaborate with project delivery teams on notices, claims and delays.
