Job summary

Arup is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead commercial delivery on major regional projects. You will manage contracts, finances, risk and governance while guiding owner-side teams and collaborating with clients, directors and engineers to drive successful outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and robust project controls across design, delivery and commissioning phases. A strong equity with Arup values is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project management, program management, commercial management, project controls or construction management.
• PMP, RICS/MRICS, CCM, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience delivering complex engineering, infrastructure, construction or professional services projects.
• Experience with design-build, CM/GC, P3 projects preferable.
• Strong governance, controls and financial performance understanding.
• Experience working with senior clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Able to mentor others and manage risks and delivery challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial leadership, including contract administration, financial management, change management and risk management.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Oversee project controls activities, including forecasting, performance monitoring, schedule management and project reporting.
• Review project performance, identify risks and opportunities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support pursuits, proposals and business development activities.
• Mentor and develop project controls professionals and commercial team members.
