Job summary

Brown-McNerney-Johnson Insurance Agency in West Des Moines, IA seeks an experienced client services professional to accurately manage client accounts and ensure deadlines are met in a timely, professional manner.

You will communicate with clients about policies, prepare quotations and coverage summaries, maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers, and support the service team or work independently to enhance coverage. A P&C license and 3+ years of insurance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of demonstrated insurance experience managing commercial accounts at either a carrier or an agency is required.
• Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance license required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic PowerPoint functions, is required.
• Experience working with EPIC Agency Management Software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately manage client accounts, ensuring deadlines are met in a timely and professional manner.
• Effectively communicate with clients, addressing inquiries regarding policies and services.
• Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and carriers.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and coverage summaries to provide exceptional care to customers.
• Prepare and submit coverages, renewals, and submissions to carrier marketplace according to established procedures.
• Maintain and update all activity records in the agency management system (Applied Epic).
• Communicate effectively and courteously to clients, employees, and carriers via telephone or other correspondence.
