Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or finance field; commercial credit training is required.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial credit analysis experience, preferably at a financial institution.
• Thorough knowledge of credit analysis and loan/lease documentation; knowledge of credit laws and regulations.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with relationship managers and stakeholders to discuss credit assessments and loan decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Analyze prospective clients using fundamental financial analysis techniques (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
• Prepare comprehensive credit packages with free cash flow analysis and asset risk coverage.
• Review and decide on business credit applications in line with underwriting standards.
• Gather documentation and perform due diligence; prepare credit reports with risk assessments and recommendations.
• Apply quantitative concepts to assess risk and profitability; balance risk with return.
• Communicate credit decisions to partners and negotiate outcomes.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and develop scalable credit analysis processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop financial reporting dashboards.
