Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial credit underwriting/analysis experience, preferably at a financial institution.
• Bachelor's degree in business or finance, in conjunction with formal credit training.
• Effective communicator at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with financial modeling in Excel (Pivot tables, Lookups, Formulas).

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and existing credit facilities through financial analysis, due diligence, and review of deal terms, structure, and legal documentation.
• Conduct due diligence on prospects and clients with senior management.
• Construct and manage DCF (discounted cash flow) and cash flow models including sensitivity analyses to mitigate risk across diverse portfolios.
• Present comprehensive credit packages including detailed free cash flow analysis, capital structure assessment, and projected asset risk coverage to executive leadership.
• Build scalable and efficient credit analysis and monitoring processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess projected asset risk coverage, department initiatives, system development, and workflow improvements.
• Ensure accurate internal risk ratings and support portfolio management,
• Conduct training to assist with the development of less experienced team members
• Perform ad hoc company, industry, and portfolio analysis
• Other duties as assigned
