Job summary

Wheels is seeking a Sr. Credit Analyst to lead commercial underwriting and portfolio risk across the US credit portfolio. You will perform detailed financial statement analysis, conduct due diligence, and develop cash flow models to assess credit quality and risk exposure.

This role partners with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to risk appetite and policies. You will build scalable credit analysis processes, deliver comprehensive credit packages, and mentor

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial credit underwriting/analysis experience, preferably at a financial institution.
• Bachelor's degree in business or finance with formal credit training.
• Effective communicator at all organizational levels.
• Experience with Excel-based financial modeling (Pivot tables, Lookups, Formulas).
• Experience creating dashboards using Tableau or Power BI, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and existing credit facilities through financial analysis, due diligence, and review of deal terms, structure, and legal documentation.
• Conduct due diligence on prospects and clients with senior management.
• Construct and manage DCF and cash flow models with sensitivity analyses to mitigate risk.
• Present comprehensive credit packages including detailed free cash flow analysis and asset risk coverage to executives.
• Build scalable credit analysis and monitoring processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess asset risk coverage and workflow improvements.
• Ensure accurate internal risk ratings and support portfolio management.
• Provide training to develop less experienced team members.
• Perform ad hoc company, industry, and portfolio analysis.
