Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Senior Commercial Counsel assigned to the Endovascular Robotics (EVR) division in Newton, MA. You will provide legal support, draft and negotiate complex agreements, and work with cross-functional partners to mitigate risk and advance strategic initiatives.

The role requires JD, active U.S. bar admission, 8+ years of experience, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and ability to remain in good standing.
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience (in-house and/or law firm).
• Proven ability to communicate legal topics and risk to business leaders in clear, practical terms.
• High integrity, sound judgment, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and, from time-to-time, internationally.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements to meet business and legal requirements, including complex go-to-market agreements and collaborations.
• Draft and negotiate clinical trial agreements and oversee their execution to support development of new robotic medical devices.
• Develop compliant solutions to meet business needs and mitigate legal risk.
• Serve as legal representative on the EVR senior leadership team.
• Partner with Quality, Regulatory, Medical/Clinical, R&D, Operations, Compliance, HR, and Commercial teams to address risks and advance the business.
