Job summary

FieldAI, located in Mission Viejo, CA, seeks a Commercial Legal Counsel to lead end-to-end negotiation of enterprise agreements for autonomous robotics deployments and to support the company’s high-growth commercial initiatives.

The role requires a JD from a top-tier law school and 8+ years of experience in technology transactions, with in-house exposure and a track record of drafting B2B agreements (SaaS, hardware, or tech services). Onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school.
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience in commercial contracts and technology transactions.
• In-house experience at a high-growth technology company (Series B or later) supporting enterprise sales.
• Experience drafting/negotiating B2B enterprise agreements (SaaS, hardware, or tech services) and familiarity with international commercial law.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end negotiation of enterprise agreements, pilot programs, and SaaS licenses.
• Develop contract templates, playbooks, and scalable review processes.
• Assess and mitigate commercial risks related to autonomous robotics in safety-critical environments.
• Provide legal advisory to Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering teams.
• Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives involving IP, Privacy, and Finance.
